Gordon Campbell, premier of BC's Liberal Party voted himself a 54% wage increase because he feels it's necessary to attract the brightest minds into the political arena. At the same time, he would like to see teachers get no raise in pay. Obviously, there's no point in attracting bright minds into teaching...the dumber, the better!
FYI: He also stripped teachers' contracts previously negotiated in good faith for better working and learning conditions. Special needs children have been placed on the back burner due to lack of funding.
Let's all drink and drive drunk too! It takes a great mind to get behind the wheel while drunk! Brilliant!
